Based on the work of my clients favourite artists; Hera Kut, I created this tattoo. It was amazing to be introduced to a new artist in this way and the client had some nice books with her depicting the artists work.

Based on the amazing painting by Audrey Kawasaki, this tattoo is very special to me. Its amazing to base tattooing on another artist or illustrators work: to study their work to closely and try to capture it in a tattoo. I respect her very much as an artist and hope she would have liked it the way it turned out!

a very special tattoo to me: I enjoyed making it very much and I remember the day I did it as very happy for both me and my client.

This project was very challenging: we had some trouble with the clients skin on the upper arm not healing well. But through it all it turned out very well and it reminds me to not give up and just keep working at something until it is where you want it to be.

A very large project that includes a cover up (a panther under the meteor thing on the right). It took over 30 hours to finish but both me and my client got through it! She is,needless to say, a very strong person!

This was a very special tattoo for the client and sticks with me because it had such meaning to him.
